Fields Preserve Bird Walk – Monday, May 22, 2023 at 9AM

Enjoy a Bird Walk at Fields Preserve on Monday, May 22, 2023 9am – 11am.

Fields Preserve is a 114 acre preserve that is managed by the Walloon Lake Association & Conservancy. It is a fascinating mix of open rolling fields, woodlands and seasonal wetland areas. The undulating trails are wide open but contain many natural obstacles under the dense leaf litter. Pleasant but tricky walking; hiking sticks are welcome.

Led by PRAS member Tracy Datlen and Connor Dennis of the Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy.  Directions: Parking area is on the west side of Resort Pike, south of School Road, at the crest of a small hill. A large Fields Preserve sign marks the parking area.

Free and open to the public. As always, no dogs and no smoking on any PRAS field trip. Children welcome with adult supervision. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them, and dress for the weather.
