Oden Fish Hatchery Bird Walk – Wednesday May 18 at 8AM
Meet at the Visitor Center by the old train car 3377 Oden Road/US 31, Alanson. Explore the trails at the Oden Fish Hatchery in search of migrating and nesting birds. We will bird the evergreen and deciduous woodlands, as well as ponds, wetland habitats, and open areas near the hatchery buildings. Most trails are flat and broad. Allow 2 hours. Time is flexible and participants are free to leave at any time.
Free and open to the public. As always, no dogs and no smoking on any PRAS field trip. Children welcome with adult supervision. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them, and dress for the weather.
